Mesa Eastmark Bioidentical Hormone Program

Our Mesa Eastmark office at 10706 East Point Twenty-Two Boulevard is a nurse practitioner-led wellness clinic in the Eastmark community of southeast Mesa. Hormones control a huge amount of what your body does. When they fall out of balance, it affects your energy, mood, libido, mental clarity, and more. Our bioidentical hormone replacement therapy at our Mesa Eastmark office addresses the root cause using plant-derived pellets inserted under the skin.

The bioidentical program at our Mesa Eastmark office is led by Chad Dance, FNP-C, MSN, MS, whose five-plus years of ICU experience at a Level II trauma center means your treatment plan is built on clinical rigor. Lab work first, then a treatment plan.

What Is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement?

Hormones control a huge amount of what your body does day to day. When levels drop or fall out of balance, the downstream effects show up as fatigue, mood changes, loss of libido, trouble sleeping, mental fog, and more.

Our bioidentical treatment consists of inserting bioidentical hormone pellets under the skin. These pellets come from plants and are a natural therapy option for those who want to reduce migraines, anxiety, depression, low libido, and more caused by hormonal imbalance.

Unlike synthetic hormone alternatives, bioidentical hormones are structurally identical to the ones your body naturally produces. For most patients, that translates to fewer side effects and a smoother experience.

Who Comes to Our Mesa Eastmark Office for Bioidentical Hormones

Our Mesa Eastmark bioidentical patient base skews two directions.

Older Sunland Springs and Cadence patients make up the first group. These are often women navigating perimenopause and menopause, and men looking for a steady-state testosterone option rather than weekly injections. Chad's clinical background matters here, since many of these patients are managing multiple medications and need a provider who can read the full picture.

Working-age Eastmark, Mulberry, and Mountain Ranch patients make up the second group. These patients come in with specific hormone-related complaints (fatigue, low libido, mood changes) and want targeted treatment rather than a wellness program.

Queen Creek patients round out the mix. The drive from most of Queen Creek is under fifteen minutes, often under ten.

Is Bioidentical Hormone Therapy Right for You?

Bioidentical hormone pellets work for both women and men dealing with hormonal imbalance. If you are struggling with fatigue, mood changes, low libido, migraines, or difficulty maintaining energy throughout the day, bioidentical replacement may provide meaningful relief.

Most patients at our Mesa Eastmark office who succeed with bioidentical therapy share three things. They have specific, persistent symptoms. They want a steady-state option rather than daily pills or weekly injections. They want a provider willing to say "your numbers are normal, let's look elsewhere" when the data points that way.

If your labs come back normal and your symptoms point elsewhere, we will say so.

Bioidentical Hormone Pellets at Keystone

Here is how bioidentical hormone pellets work at our Mesa Eastmark office, what they treat, what to expect, and who they are built for. Your provider will walk you through the specifics during your consultation.

Hormone Pellet Insertion

Our bioidentical treatment consists of inserting bioidentical hormone pellets under the skin in the hip area. Once inserted, they release small amounts of hormones (estrogen, testosterone, etc.) into the bloodstream and start to balance the hormones immediately.

The pellets come from plants, which is why we call them bioidentical. They are a natural therapy option for patients looking to address hormonal imbalance without synthetic alternatives.

Who It Treats

Bioidentical hormone pellets are used at our Mesa Eastmark office to help patients experiencing symptoms of low or unbalanced hormones. The pillar conditions we address include:

  • Migraines
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low libido
  • Fatigue and energy loss
  • Mental fog and difficulty concentrating

If any of this sounds familiar, bioidentical hormone replacement may help you get back to feeling like yourself.

What to Expect After Insertion

Within days of treatment, you can expect to see positive changes. After a few weeks, your symptoms will dissipate. Patients report feeling more refreshed and energized, better mental clarity, a stronger sex drive, and an increased sense of well-being.

Pellets release hormones steadily over several months, so there are no daily pills, patches, or injection schedules to manage once inserted.

Who It's For

Bioidentical hormone pellets work for both women and men dealing with hormone imbalance. For women, they are often used around perimenopause and menopause. For men, they are a steady-state alternative to weekly testosterone injections.

Candidate selection depends on your lab work, symptoms, and medical history. Your provider will determine whether bioidentical pellets are the right fit during your consultation.

What Your First Visit Looks Like

Your first visit at our Mesa Eastmark office takes about 45 minutes. Your provider reviews your medical history, current symptoms, and goals. Baseline lab work is ordered to measure your actual hormone levels before any pellets are prescribed.

For Queen Creek patients, the drive is usually under fifteen minutes. The parking is straightforward and our office is on the ground floor with easy access.

Once your labs are back, you return for a follow-up visit to review results and discuss whether bioidentical pellets are the right fit. The insertion itself is a quick in-office procedure. The pellets are placed under the skin in the hip area through a small incision. Most patients return to normal activities the same day with minor movement restrictions for 72 hours.

Do you accept bioidentical hormone patients from Queen Creek?

How are bioidentical hormone pellets inserted?

Pellets are small and inserted under the skin in the hip area through a small in-office incision. The procedure is quick, typically taking about 15-20 minutes with a local anesthetic. Most patients return to normal activities the same day with minor movement restrictions for 72 hours.

How long do bioidentical pellets last?

Pellets release hormones steadily over several months. Most patients receive new pellets every three to five months depending on their dosing and metabolism. Your provider will discuss the specific timing for your dosing during your consultation.

Yes. Bioidentical hormone pellets work for both men and women. For men, pellets are often chosen as a steady-state alternative to weekly testosterone injections. For a dedicated men's hormone program, see our Mesa Eastmark TRT page.

Are bioidentical hormones better than synthetic hormones?

Bioidentical hormones are structurally identical to the ones your body naturally produces. For most patients, that translates to fewer side effects compared to synthetic alternatives. However, better depends on the patient. Your provider will discuss whether bioidentical is the right fit for your specific situation.

Is bioidentical hormone therapy covered by insurance in Arizona?

Insurance generally does not cover bioidentical hormone replacement because the compounded formulations are not FDA-approved. We are an out-of-network practice and do not bill insurance directly. Patients use HSA, FSA, or financing through Cherry.

Do I need a referral for bioidentical hormone therapy at your Mesa office?

No. Family Nurse Practitioners are licensed independent providers in Arizona. New patients schedule directly with our Mesa Eastmark office. Bring any recent hormone lab work or medical records, and we will review them during intake.

Who is a good candidate for bioidentical hormone therapy at your Mesa Eastmark office?

Good candidates are adults with specific, persistent symptoms of hormonal imbalance (fatigue, mood changes, low libido, mental fog) who want a steady-state option. Our Mesa Eastmark patient mix skews toward older Sunland Springs and Cadence residents and working-age Eastmark patients looking for targeted hormone treatment.
