Our Mesa Eastmark office at 10706 East Point Twenty-Two Boulevard is a nurse practitioner-led wellness clinic in the Eastmark community of southeast Mesa. The office sits near the Banner Health Center at Eastmark, with easy access from Loop 202 for patients across Mesa, Queen Creek, Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, and San Tan Valley.
Ketamine infusion therapy is the slow infusion of a light dose of ketamine through an IV. The amount is not enough to put you to sleep, but enough for you to feel the effects on your body and brain. The medication enters your bloodstream and has a positive effect on the neurotransmitters in your brain.
The ketamine program at our Mesa Eastmark office is led by Chad Dance, FNP-C, MSN, MS, whose five-plus years of ICU experience at a Level II trauma center make him uniquely qualified to administer this therapy. For Queen Creek patients, the drive to our Eastmark office is usually under fifteen minutes. The parking is straightforward and our office is on the ground floor with easy access for patients who may feel woozy after the infusion.
As the infusion can leave patients feeling woozy or having mild hallucinations, we recommend waiting at least 30 minutes after treatment for monitoring by our staff. It is also important to rest for the remainder of the day, so do not book too many other engagements right after your appointment.
Because of the post-infusion effects, you will need someone to drive you home. This is not optional. Plan accordingly before your appointment.
Chad Dance, FNP-C, MSN, MS, is the lead Family Nurse Practitioner at our Mesa Eastmark office. Chad received his master's degree as a nurse practitioner over eight years ago from the University of Phoenix. Before that, he graduated from Idaho State University with his nursing degree and immediately began working as a nurse in the ICU at a Level II trauma center in Idaho, where he spent more than five years caring for critically ill medical, surgical, neurological, and open-heart surgery patients.
After moving to Arizona, Chad continued his nursing career in the ICU while also gaining experience as a charge nurse, preceptor for nursing students, and trainer of new hires into the ICU. Chad has extensive knowledge across all aspects of medicine including overall health and wellness, pain management, and trauma. That combination is particularly relevant at our Mesa Eastmark office, where our patient mix includes older Sunland Springs residents managing chronic pain alongside working-age patients seeking mental health support.

Patients coming from Apache Junction and Gold Canyon (about twenty minutes each way) still need to arrange a ride home. We require you to have a family member or friend drive you to and from your appointment.
