a comprehensive approach to HRT

A comprehensive consultation including lab (blood) work-up is first analyzed to reveal any physiological barriers to hormone replacement therapy. The labs then help our staff to determine the best treatment for you. You will come back to our office and our staff will prepare you for your treatment. With our two options of receiving injection therapy or bioidentical hormone pellets. How often you come back for treatment will vary. In most cases we see our patients every 3-6 months for pellet treatment and the injection time frame varies.

You might be wondering what bioidentical hormone pellets are, don't worry we will cover that at your appointment. In summary bioidentical hormones come from plants, unlike synthetics, which come from animals. Since their chemical composition is more similar to natural testosterone found in your body, bioidentical hormones are superior to synthetic hormones. Hormone pellets are the shape and size of a grain of rice. They are inserted under the skin in the hip area. They release small amounts of hormones (estrogen, testosterone etc.) directly into the bloodstream, mimicking the human body's natural process.

Ashley graduated from the University of Phoenix with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2021. During her program she became a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society in Nursing and a member of the National Society of Leadership and Excellence. Ashley is an Arizona native where she received her nursing degree in 2010. As a Registered Nurse she specialized in Women’s Health for six years and family practice for three years. After her transition to a Family Nurse Practitioner, Ashley focused two years in Naturopathic medicine and two years of integrative health. Ashley has a true desire for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals while focusing on patient centered care.

Outside of the clinic, Ashley has a devotion to fitness and nutrition. She is a busy mother of two active kids that thrive with outside activities such as baseball, horseback riding, rodeos, mountain biking and hiking.

Chad has been a nurse practitioner for over 8 years. Chad graduated with his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Idaho State University. Once graduated, he was hired as a new nursing graduate into the ICU at a Level II trauma center in Idaho. This is where he learned how to care for medical, surgical, neurological, and open-heart surgery patients. After he worked there for 5 years, he and his family moved to Arizona. He continued his nursing career in the ICU. He was a charge nurse, a preceptor for nursing students, and new hires to the ICU. He earned his master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Phoenix. He also has a second master’s degree of science.

Additionally, Chad is fluent in medical and conversational Spanish.

He spends his time with his family in the outdoors, hiking and mountain biking in his spare time. During the winter, Chad is involved with the National Ski Patrol at Sunrise Ski Resort.
